Lachy is an Exercise Scientist currently completing his Master of Exercise Physiology, due to graduate in June. He works at Rowville Sports Academy, where he leads the golf and tennis programs.
Lachy’s clinical and professional interests centre around musculoskeletal rehabilitation, sport-related injuries, and exercise prescription for athletes. He is passionate about guiding clients through the full journey, from recovery back to high performance, and building long-term strategies to keep people strong, active, and performing at their best.
Whether working with athletes or the general population, Lachy delivers client-centred care that is grounded in evidence-based practice, tailoring programs to an individual’s goals and current abilities to support recovery or drive high performance. Regardless of whether they are returning from injury, managing a health condition, or living with chronic disease.
Having been exposed to high-level sporting environments throughout his career, Lachy brings a deep understanding of both the rehabilitation and high-performance journey. He currently mentors and develops footballers, drawing on firsthand experience to help athletes and general population get back to doing what they love.
Outside of work, Lachy serves as Vice Captain of the senior team at the Rowville Hawks and enjoys training in the gym and heading to the beach to surf.
